Reducing pollution risks at Royd Ings Industrial Estate, Yorkshire

Groundwork is currently working with the Environment Agency to reduce unplanned or accidental pollution from industrial estates across Yorkshire.

Last year our environmental consultants engaged businesses located at the Euroway, Spen Valley and BMK industrial estates. 

This year, they are supporting businesses on Royd Ings Industrial Estate in Keighley, which has been chosen due to its close proximity to the River Aire, where there have been several water pollution incidents.

Groundwork is providing fully funded and confidential visits from a member of our team, who will conduct a brief review of the business premises and provide advice on how to prevent and manage pollution risks, avoiding potential fines and prosecutions and preventing environmental damage.
