Greville Kelly, Director at Groundwork, will be one of the speakers at the ‘Understanding how to transition to Electric Vehicles’ event on Tuesday 21 May 2024 at the Civic Hall, Ellesmere Port.
The Cheshire West and Chester Council event, which will help local businesses to save money and reduce emissions by switching to electric vehicles (EVs), closely aligns with Groundwork’s projects to support business investment in infrastructure as part of the journey to net zero.

In addition to the main presentations running from 8am to 10am, there will be specialist presentations from 10am on subjects such as developing local EV charging infrastructure through the forthcoming new LEVI (Local Electric Vehicle Infrastructure) charging network.
Test drives of the latest electric vehicles will also be on offer, as well as the ability to talk to organisations offering solutions in areas such as EV chargers, renewable energy and sustainable transport.
Event delegates will receive a free Electric Vehicle Business Toolkit, providing essential information for organisations about EVs and charging.
Following the business breakfast presentations, the event will be open to the public from 10am to 1pm.
